FAIRNESS VERIFICATION

How Duel Provably Fair Games Work

Provably fair should turn trust into a reproducible check. The important question is not whether a page uses cryptographic language; it is whether a normal player can follow the inputs and verify the result.

WHAT IT PROVES

A sound provably-fair system can show that a result was generated from committed inputs and was not changed after the bet. It does not prove that the paytable is favourable, that the casino is legal for a player, or that withdrawals will be fast.

01

The basic fairness chain

A typical system combines a server seed, a player or client seed and a nonce. The casino commits to the server input before the bet, then reveals enough information later for the player to reproduce the result.

The commitment matters because it prevents the operator from choosing a convenient server seed after seeing the player’s bet. The verification tool should make that chain understandable rather than merely displaying a green tick.

02

What we inspect on Duel

We check whether the relevant Original exposes the necessary seeds, hash and nonce, whether the published calculation reproduces the displayed result and whether a player can rotate inputs without hidden friction.

A fairness system can be technically correct but poorly explained. Our review treats usability as part of the evidence because an unverifiable verification flow offers little protection to an ordinary user.

03

Fair does not mean zero edge

Provably fair and zero edge answer different questions. Fairness asks whether the result was generated as promised. RTP asks what the paytable returns in expectation over time.

A game can be provably fair while carrying a substantial house edge. Conversely, a 100% RTP claim still needs a trustworthy outcome mechanism. Duel’s proposition is strongest where both claims can be shown together.

FAQ

Questions players ask

What does provably fair mean?+

It means a player can use disclosed cryptographic inputs to verify that a game result followed the committed process.

Does provably fair mean I cannot lose?+

No. It verifies outcome generation, not whether a particular bet wins or whether the game has a house edge.

Are all casino games on Duel provably fair?+

The relevant check applies to supported games and systems. Third-party titles can use different certification and fairness models.
